Art Talent Development

Today at Enrich I did my painting. I started a new one and now it is a dragon's eye. It has big pointy green scales and an oval black bit in it's eye and around it is orange. It was really hard because I needed a smaller and smaller brush and I finally got it and I am just about done. I only need like three days longer and I will be successful. I also am nearly finished rag kill with Isaac. He only needs his yellow spots on his back.

P4C

Today at Enrich I did P4C with Darryn and eight other kids. We were talking about "Is everything possible?"  We got asked 9 questions, like: Is it possible that a genie could appear tomorrow and give you one wish? The answer was yes, but it was highly unlikely to happen. It was really hard because Darryn kept saying why? and that made it confusing!

Art Talent Devalapment

this photo is showing a birds view that is looking down on him.

This is showing that it has spikes that is going down its back a big spike at the front and little ones that follow it down the back.
this is the photo showing that it has marbles for its eyes and it has wire bent to make the teeth look sharp.
Today at Enrich Isaac and I are adding muscles and the toes and claws to "Ragkill". We just added the spikes that run down the back. We are going to add thigh muscles so that it can stand up easier then now. I will now show you some pictures of him.

The Art Trip

Wow! What a trip I just had. You're lucky because now I am going to tell you about it.  Firstly it was an art trip and we went to the museum. We looked at the art that someone did but the group said that a 4 year old could do it. Then we went into the tuatara house. It was fun because we could see a lot of tuataras even Henry was out. Secondly we left the museum and went to the other art gallery. There was a picture that I really liked. Thirdly we came back to Enrich. I was sad because I really liked the trip.

Teacher Comment

Edward.
Well done on a productive term at Enrich.  You have embraced new challenges and pushed yourself to produce an end product with your Science Talent Development.  You have a range of friendships and have shown you can work independently, or as part of a group.  You are always respectful of others and your confidence in your own ability is growing.  Keep up your positive attitude for next term.
Katie.

Indian Chairs

Today I played Indian chairs. Indian chairs is where there are two teams. One team is lined up along the ground - one person kneels one way, the other person kneels the opposite way until everyone is in a spaced out line. The other team lines up ready to run. The team on the ground has a tagger who tries to tag the person from the other team who is running. The running team can run inbetween the other people in the line - the tagger cannot.  The tagger needs to sub with other members of their team to try and catch the runner on the side they are on.  Once the runner has been tagged, the other members of their team have their turn.  You play until everyone has been tagged, then you swap over.  We use a timer to see which team stayed in the longest.

Chess

Today I played chess against Georgia and I won.Firstly I tried to do scholars but it did not work.Secondly I tried to out rank her but that did not work either.Thirdly she used her rook to sneak around to kill my king but I took care of her with my knight.Fourthly I tried to get my pawns to the end but that did not work at all. Then I used my Queen and rook to checkmate her and that one worked, yay! Then guess what... I WON!
