Comment and tell me what spot you wouldn't or would like to be in the most.
Hi! My name is Eddie. I am year 6 and I go to Enrich every Monday. Enrich is a school for gifted kids. I like passion time - you do something that you would like to learn. I really enjoy coming to Enrich. We have 4 cornerstones; they are Concept Curriculum, Affective Domain, Mental Edge and Talent Development.I really enjoy going to the mental edge table because you play games that make you think.

The Pit
Hello, today I did a teacher led workshop called the pit! It was with Katie. We talked about when you're feeling stressed, nervous or even embarrassed. First you feel stressed and like oh no. Then SMACK! you're in the pit feeling sorry about yourself. Then when you tell someone about it (like a teacher, friend or your Mum and Dad) they will help you out of the pit. You will feel happy, loved and nice inside. That is what I learnt about the pit!. The one spot I wouldn't want to be in is the pit.

Student led workshop
Hello, first things first. I went to a student led workshop led by Luke. At the workshop we learnt all
about scholars. We learnt how to do the bishop scholars, it is a really basic scholars but it's really
effective, you can win the game in 4 moves! We also learnt the knight scholars move, it's pretty helpful when you're in trouble and you have a knight and a queen.
We also learnt what a fork is in chess, it is when your bishop can take out your castle or your king it's pretty cool when it happens on your opponent not on you because that would be really, really bad.
That is what I learnt at the student led workshop that was led by Luke.

Stone Carving
Hello! I hope you loved your holidays! Today I continued doing my goats head for passion time. I had to draw a goats head on the stone, but then I realised my stone had a hole in it so I had to cut around and then draw my goat it was frustrating because I needed that piece. But luckily I had just enough space to draw. I had practiced drawing it on its front and done a little bit on it's side so I was quite annoyed. I got stuck on the ear so I kept having to look back to my book. Soon enough I got to cut the stone it was very, very difficult. My hand was getting sorer and sorer but then Darryn came and finished it in about 5 seconds!
